It's so great to be out there riding my bike. Especially with a decent sized group. The last 2 Sundays I've ridden with the group out of Final Kick, 42 miles through Virginia Beach. Always funny to me how they say *social* pace. Social pace for who? You better come pretty strong to keep up on this one. I wish I could take my people with me so they could experience it. But I say that about the swim and the run too. Just really great to be out there and flowing along on all cylinders. I feel like I'm way ahead on training for IMUSA. Last weekend I ran 18 miles on Saturday then rode 42 on Sunday. This weekend it was a 20 mile run on Saturday and the same 42 on Sunday. The run mileage is up because I'm planning on running the Shamrock marathon in Virginia Beach on March 22(?). The trick is going to be maintaining a good run base while increasing the cycling mileage while also not getting hurt. I'm experiencing a slight amount of guilt about going to ride instead of going to Church on Sunday mornings. More on that later because it's just going to keep coming up.
here's the map of Sunday's ride.
